If you have Premium + Sync (on this device or on your account) and sign in to an account that already has recipes and meal plans, while this device has some too, Menu Planner 2 asks what to do with what’s on this device. Nothing changes until you choose.
- Add to My Account — combines what’s on this device with what’s in your account. Your account’s settings, profile and theme stay as they are. Meal types, stores and pantry locations you haven’t used on this device are replaced by your account’s.
- Use My Account Only — deletes what’s on this device and uses what’s in your account. Tap Remove and Use My Account to confirm. This can’t be undone.
If your account is in a household with other people, what’s on this device can’t be added to it. It shows whose household it is and who’s in it. Tap Use the Household’s, then Remove and Use the Household’s, to replace what’s here with the household’s.
To keep what’s on this device instead, tap Leave the Household Instead… (unless you own the household). Choose Go Back to My Own or Keep a Copy of the Household’s, just as when you leave from the Household screen. Nothing of the household’s comes to this device, and you’re then asked about this device’s recipes and plans as you would be with your own account.
Once you’ve chosen, your account’s recipes and plans come to this device. While they arrive, Home shows Getting your recipes and plans, with what your account has and how far it has got, and the Kitchen, Lists and Meals tabs say what’s on its way instead of looking empty. You can keep using the app. Closing the card on Home doesn’t stop anything arriving.
After Add to My Account, Home also shows Added to your account, with what this device added, until you close it.
Closing this screen signs you out again and keeps everything here as it was. When only one side has anything, there’s no question: an empty account gets what’s on this device, and an empty device gets what’s in the account.
