Check these on both devices:

  • Both are signed in — to the same account, or to two accounts in the same household. In Profile & Settings, tap your email: it should say Premium + Sync, and Sync should be on.
  • The account has Premium + Sync. In a household, anyone’s subscription covers everyone; if nobody has one, syncing pauses for the whole household until someone subscribes.
  • Both are connected to the internet.
  • Low Power Mode is off. Syncing pauses while it’s on and picks up again afterwards.
  • Both have the latest version of Menu Planner 2. A device on an older version can’t sync until it’s updated.

A warning triangle on your picture means syncing has hit a problem, or you pay for sync but aren’t signed in. Open Profile & Settings and tap your email to see what’s wrong.

Home tells you too. Sync is turned off means the Sync switch is off on this device: tap Turn On. Sign in to start syncing means you pay for Premium + Sync but aren’t signed in: tap Sign In.
