- On the Lists tab, tap + and tap items to add them. Tap one again to take it off. On iPad, the food is in the panel beside the list: tap the list button beside an item, or drag it onto the list. Tap a recipe to add its ingredients.
- Not in your pantry? Type its name and tap Add name just this once. It goes on your list only, and is gone once you clear it from the cart.
- To keep a one-time item for next time, swipe right on it on your list to edit it, tap Add to My Pantry, then tap the checkmark (or Done). It becomes a pantry item you can give tags, a place and a count.
- To add something by its barcode, tap + beside the search box and choose Scan Barcode. If it isn’t in your pantry yet, Menu Planner 2 looks it up online so you can make it a pantry item.
- On the Kitchen tab, tap the list button on a pantry item. For a recipe, touch and hold it and choose Add Ingredients to List, or open the recipe and tap the list button at the top. Then tap Add number Missing, Add All number, or the button beside each ingredient.
- When you open a day on the Meals tab, each food has its own list button.
- On a Saved Filter’s page (See All on Home), tap More and choose Add All to Shopping List.
- You can also ask Siri: “Add to my Menu Planner 2 list.”
The list button shows your list’s icon, filled in when the item is on the list. It adds to the list named at the top of the Lists tab.
