Once a profile shows nutrition, open a day on the Meals tab. A card at the top shows the day’s totals — a bar for each nutrient with a goal, and a small tile with the amount of each nutrient you track. On a bar, a dotted line is an amount to reach, and a solid line is a limit not to go over. When there isn’t room for both, swipe the card sideways to see the tiles. Tap the card for the full day, where you can swipe between days and tap Edit Goals.

Under the totals, Find Foods That Fit says what’s still to go and suggests foods that get the day closer to its goals.

Each meal’s header shows its first values; tap them to open that meal’s nutrition line, and tap the line for its Nutrition Facts. On iPad, the week view shows a small chart for each day above the week.

When the profile has goals and something is planned for today, Home shows today’s totals too, under Planned Today. Only meal types with Count in Nutrition Totals turned on are counted.

The Nutrition Today widget shows the same totals on your Home Screen.
