Open a recipe and tap Nutrition at the top — if you don’t see it, tap More (•••) first. The Nutrition button on the recipe’s nutrition card opens it too. It shows what one serving has in it.
- When your profile has nutrition goals, Daily Goals shows one serving against them. Tap it to open or close it. There’s no % Daily Value: your own goals take its place.
- The big number is the calories in one serving. When your device’s region is the UK or elsewhere in Europe, it’s in kcal with kilojoules underneath, and sodium is shown as salt.
- Under it, each value has a line of its own, grouped the way a food label groups them: fats, carbs, protein, sodium (or salt), then vitamins and minerals. The parts of a value, like saturated fat, are in italics under it.
- Tap Makes … servings at the bottom to change how many servings the recipe makes.
- Not known lists the values nothing was recorded for, so they aren’t shown as 0.
- Calories from each ingredient lists each ingredient’s share. Tap one that looks wrong to check it.
- Edit Nutrition changes how the recipe’s nutrition is worked out.
A pantry item’s screen has See Nutrition Facts once it has nutrition. On the meal plan, tap the values in a meal’s header, then the line that opens, to see the same for that meal.
