Foods That Fit shows what’s left of a profile’s nutrition goals for the day, and foods from your kitchen that get you closer without going past a limit — each with how much to have.

  1. Tap Find Foods That Fit under the day’s nutrition — on Home under Planned Today, or at the top of a day on the Meals tab. For one meal, tap ••• beside the meal’s name and choose Foods That Fit….
  2. Under Add to, choose the meal. A checkmark beside one means it already has food.
  3. Tap Add beside a food, or Add Both for two together. Changed your mind? Tap Undo.
  • Left for Today shows where you stand on each goal: how much is still to go, how much room is left under a limit, or Goal reached. When other meals are still to plan, the meal you chose gets only its share.
  • Fits Your Goals lists foods you usually have at that meal, and More From Your Kitchen adds others. Each says what it adds and which goals it finishes. Tap the amount to choose a different one.
  • Two Together pairs two foods that get you further than any one food can.
  • The line that says how many foods might fit opens foods with some values not filled in. Tap Fill In Nutrition (or Open Recipe) to fill them in.

It uses the profile you’re planning for and only counts meal types with Count in Nutrition Totals turned on. Foods you chose Don’t Suggest for in Suggest Meals, or with a tag set to Never in Suggestion Settings, are left out. To change which goals it aims for, tap the row that says what you’re Aiming for.

Adding food the usual way? In the food list under Add food, tap the up-and-down arrows and choose Fits What’s Left Today (or Tomorrow, or the day’s date). The foods that fit come first, each with what one serving adds.

Anyone can see the foods that fit. Adding them from this screen needs Premium — without it, the button at the bottom says Unlock Foods That Fit with Premium.
