On the Kitchen tab, tap the filter button (sliders) at the end of the row of buttons at the top; a number on it shows how many filters are on. On iPad the filters open beside the list. Filter by tags, nutrition, rating, ingredients, stores and prices, how much you have (like what’s running low), how often it’s planned and more. The button at the bottom says how many match; tap it to see them. Reset at the top clears them all.
Active filters show as buttons under the top row. Tap one to change it, or its ✕ to remove it. Clear All removes them all.
Ingredients shows recipes that use the ingredients you add. From Saved Filter adds the ingredients a Saved Filter shows, such as what’s in your pantry; a recipe needs just one of those. With two or more ingredients, or an ingredient and a Saved Filter, choose Match Any (a recipe uses at least one of them) or Match All (it uses every ingredient you added, plus one from the Saved Filter).
Under Options, turn on Limit Number of Results to see only the first few, as many as Show Up To says.
When nothing matches, Menu Planner 2 suggests which filter to remove and how many matches that would give.
