On the Kitchen tab, tap + → New Recipe → Find on the Web. Type what you want to cook, or paste a recipe’s web address, and tap the arrow key on the keyboard. Open a recipe you like and tap Get Recipe at the bottom. The button is filled in when the page has a recipe the app can read, and changes to Saved once you’ve saved it. You stay on the web page afterwards, so you can save several in a row. Use the arrows at the bottom to go back and forward between pages.
Before you search, Find a Recipe lists the websites you’ve saved recipes from. Tap one to go straight there.
When a search on the Kitchen tab finds no recipes, tap Search the Web for “…” to look for it there.
From Safari or another browser, open the recipe, tap Share (in Safari on iPhone it’s in the ••• menu) and choose Menu Planner 2.
When the recipe is found, choose Cook Now to cook from it without keeping it, or Save Recipe to check it over and save it. If you’ve saved it before, you can Open Saved Recipe or Import Again. A recipe shared from Safari opens once you save it.
Websites you sign in to stay signed in, so recipes behind a sign-in can be saved too.
Have a list of recipe links? On Find a Recipe, before you search, tap Have a list of links? Import them all at once. Paste the links, tap Find Recipes, then pick the recipes you want and tap Import.
Some sites don’t publish their recipes in a form the app can read. On devices with Apple Intelligence, Menu Planner 2 then reads the page itself, which takes a moment. If that doesn’t work, copy the recipe’s text and use From Pasted Text instead.
Prices some sites list beside each ingredient are left out.
