- Tap Suggest Meals (the sparkles button). Inside a day it’s under the meal types and at the top of the screen. On Home it’s in the This Week card. On the Meals tab, iPad has it at the top; on iPhone, tap ••• at the top and choose Suggest Meals….
- Choose Day or Week, and tap the meal types you want filled.
- Take the checkmark off any suggestion you don’t want, or tap the arrow beside one for other ideas.
- Tap the button at the bottom — it says Add and how many meals.
Suggestions come from what you’ve planned before and from your recipes. Nothing is added until you tap that button. To move a suggestion to another day, touch and hold it and drag it. In Week, turn on Try a new recipe to get one you haven’t planned yet. If this week is already planned, it opens on next week.
If the profile shows nutrition and has goals, turn on Fit Your Nutrition Goals (or Fit and the profile’s name) to pick meals that get each day closer to them. Nutrition by Day at the bottom then shows where each day lands, counting what’s already planned: Within your goals, or what’s short or over.
A day that already has that meal is left alone unless you tap Suggest Anyway. The suggestion then replaces what’s planned; tap the line under it to choose Add Alongside or Keep What’s Planned instead.
In a suggestion’s other ideas, tap More Ideas at the bottom for different ones. To stop suggesting that meal, tap ••• at the top of its other ideas and choose Don’t Suggest. Tap ••• (Options) at the top of the screen for Shuffle All, or Suggestion Settings to limit suggestions by tag. To have a meal suggested again, open Suggestion Settings, swipe it under Not Suggested and tap Suggest Again.
No recipes yet? Tap Add a Recipe to add one without leaving.
Anyone can see and change suggestions. Adding them to your meal plan needs Premium — without it, the button at the bottom says Unlock Suggest Meals with Premium.
